Product description of ALSANZA Alsafit Fourier

Fourier Transform is using to write any periodic function as a sum of cosine and sinus functions. It is basically aproximating functions in time domain to frequency domain or non-linear function to linear function. The Aperture-adapted undulations ensure a consistent and optimal light distribution, maintaining continuous focus under varying lighting conditions. With its Fourier optic features, the product offers a 24-hour balanced light distribution, providing high energy distribution for near and intermediate vision in both mesopic and photopic conditions. This unique design promises patients more efficient light distribution, resulting in clear vision at all distances, during both day and night.Fourier Optic is a cutting edge optic technology fitted out with undulatory diffractive pattern in all optical zone (6mm). Throughout its undulatory diffractive pattern, Fourier Optic contists of 14 soft transition steps which support possessing continuous vision at all distances and light conditionsTRADITIONAL TRIFOCAL DESIGNS• Lower light transmission to retina• More Halo & Glare• Three foci• Loss of contrast sensitivity in mesopic conditionsFOURIER OPTIC IOL• Higher light transmission• Minimised Halo• Continuous focus• Enhanced contrast sensitivity even under mesopic conditionsAlsafit Fourier total presbyopia correcting IOL with Fourier Optic design is developed to achieve perfect vision at all distances and light conditions.ALSAFIT FOURIER provides 91,4% Light Transmission to Retina with its path-breaking Fourer Optic design. Undulatory diffractive patterns transmits large part of the light to retina by reducing reflected and scattered light. Classical overlapping fresnel diffractive IOLs exhibit important light loss (12 to 15%) which has direct impact on visual performance. In traditional overlapping fresnel diffractive IOL designs consists of sharp steps (see left). As a consequence a certain amount of light will be scattered in undefined direction. In contrast, soft and undulatory pattern of Fourier Optic supports minimizing dysphotopsia after implantation of IOLFourier Optics is designed to provide high contrast sensitivity by distributing light more efficiently over long distances, up to 45%, and slightly improving near vision from 29% to 30%*.Preserving near-light distribution in conjunction with increased far-light distribution facilitates thespectacle-free vision and improved contrast sensitivity, also in mesopic conditions
