The lightly used certified Dusa BLU Blue 4170 Light Photodynamic Therapy llluminator is specifically designed to deliver light of an appropriate wavelength, energy, and penetration in order to activate the photosensitizer protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) after LEVULAN® KERASTICK® has been applied to AK lesions and allowed to incubate.
