Product Description

Waters Acquity UPLC H-Class system

The ACQUITY UPLC H-Class system combines the speed and performance of UPLC with the ability to run HPLC separations. This combination provides many benefits, including these:

High-pressure, small-particle chromatography allowing faster, higher-resolution analyses, compared with conventional HPLC
Low solvent consumption (significantly less than conventional HPLC)
Flexibility in solvent mixing by using a quaternary solvent manager
A flow-through-needle sample manager that facilitates the transfer of methods from HPLC to UPLC.
Pump and sample manager design enhancements, to minimize dispersion and reduce cycle time
An optional, versatile, column manager, to facilitate method development.

Waters ACQUITY UPLC Tunable UV (TUV) Detector

The Waters ACQUITY UPLC Tunable UV (TUV) Detector is a tunable, dual-wavelength UV/Visible (UV/Vis) detector specifically designed and optimized for the entire line of ACQUITY UPLC systems. The ACQUITY UPLC TUV Detector’s innovative light-guiding flow cell design and High Brightness Lamp are each equipped with Intelligent Chip Technology, allowing for the electronic recording of pertinent component information flow, which is then viewable within the EmpowerTM Software database and available for inclusion in a comprehensive status report. Additionally, the design of the ACQUITY UPLC TUV Detector allows for reduced sensitivity to laboratory environmental fluctuations, such as temperature and humidity changes. The ACQUITY UPLC TUV Detector maintains its low-noise electronics and support for sampling rates up to 80 points/s.

Quaternary Solvent Manager H-Class
The Waters Acquity Quaternary solvent Manager (QSM) is a high-pressure pump that can simultaneously pump four degassed solvents through the Acquity UPLC H-Class system. The pump can deliver gradients in eleven curve shapes (linear, two step, four convex, 4 concave).
