VIVO is an electric bed for intensive care, with 4 movable segments, with height adjustment by means of high-performance telescopic columns. The bed's recliner is equipped with a patented, INNOVATIVE PAS SYSTEM (to prevent the patient from slipping), which COMPENSATES the patient's pushing towards the legs of the bed. The leg-side top has an integrated multifunctional touchscreen to control bed adjustment and the VI-MAT air mattress pumping system and VI-WEIGHT patient weighing system,
The air mattress is pumped using a compressor built into the leg-side of the bed, making it easy to clean and reducing the overall size of the air supply system for the mattress. With the side-tilt function, rotational treatment can be programmed for patients with pulmonary complications. All controls are ergonomically arranged and labeled with intuitive icons easily understood by both medical personnel and the patient,
In addition to the digital touchscreen, the bed can be operated via control panels located on the outside of the side rails and equipped with LED lighting for better visibility at night. The LED flashes in the event of an alarm or nurse call. Patient button functions, located on the inside of the side rails, can be interlocked by nursing staff.
Side tilting can be controlled by pedals, making it easier for the operator to care for the patient. The control panel also allows programming of rotational therapy functions.
