MOTOMED Reck Pico powered arm and leg exercise bike trainer Continuous Passive Motion (CPM)

This German made device is the predecessor of the more common VIVA1 and VIVA2 passive motion exercisers. It offers the same motion routines, speeds and directional options as the newer models and the additional feature of a wired foot operated remote braking system. The manual indicates it has a spasm mitigation feature. It can be configured for different sized users other by changing the pedal radius(s) and moving the arm trainer forward and back along its upper mount. The main control is a wired analog unit with about a four foot wired lead. It and the remote footswitch have magnetic bases which allow them to be attached to the unit or used by a someone not on the machine. There is no display, software or recording apparatus attached to the Pico and it does not have wheels for easy relocation (this was an option).

This trainer has been tested and appears to respond to controls appropriately. There are no cracks, bends or significant damage on the frame, metal pedals or controls. The foot pedals are lined with a foam rubber material that does show wear and there are some insignificant scratches the machines painted surfaces.
