SmartXide is a fractional CO2 laser, a device used to treat scars and stretch marks. The therapy consists solely in stimulating the body to act with its own forces. The fractional laser does not evaporate the entire skin surface, but pierces it with thousands of microscopic pulses. It thus produces microcolumns with a diameter of 120 microns, leaving around them surrounding healthy, undamaged skin.
