Product Description

The aluminium swing bucket rotor currently has four 16 position trays installed. It has been tested without issue in a New Brunswick Scientific 103N centrifuge (available) at the maximum rated speed of 3500 RPM and found to be without issue. There are no part numbers on this accessory other than FB. It is assumed to have been originally supplied with the 103N centrifuge with which it was purchased. New Brunswick Sci. is now owned by Eppendorf. This appears to be the same as the rotor (P/N A-4-81)used in their 5810 centrifuge but I have been told that even if it fits it is unlikely the Eppendorf equipment will recognise it sensor wise. A 5810 rotor like this has a replacement value is over $2000, not including the four trays which are included here. The complete (operational) New Brunswick Scientific 103N centrifuge is available for $500 including this rotor.
