ProSenseTM system, manufactured by IceCure Medical Ltd., is a III generation technology device for cryo-ablation of benign and malignant cancer lesions. ProSenseTM system works with Liquid Nitrogen.
The process of freezing intra and extra-cellular liquids induces the volumetric destruction of cells membrane. This process is not a necrotic process but rather apoptosis-like event.
The most common clinical indications for the ProSenseTM cryo-ablation are:
Bone metastases;
Renal cancer;
Breast cancer: benign and malignant.

ProSenseTM cryo-system allows intra-operative or percutaneous procedures.
ProSenseTM device has some specific main features as:
