Product Description

Manufacturer: Environics-IUT. Model: ENVI-Air GC-IMS Analyzer. S/N: IM0911. 120011. Year of manufacture: 2012. Description:. The ENVI-Air from Environics is a continuously operating gas analyzer that was developed for the ultra-sensitive detection of individual or multi-component hazardous substances in the ambient air. It can operate indoors or outdoors in the harshest environmental conditions and requires little or no maintenance. The ENVI-Air can detect hazardous substances at much lower concentrations than traditional analyzers and respond in real time. This gives the operator a longer safe response window to take corrective action. It is based on GC-IMS technology. Ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) is a simplified atmospheric pressure time-of-flight technique that is highly selective with low ppb to % sensitivity. In GC-IMS, multicomponent separation is added before IMS analysis. The ENVI-Air requires no paper tape, pre-concentrators or chemical reagents. The ENVI-Air is an industrial solution that is virtually drift-free and unaffected by humidity or temperature fluctuations and is factory calibrated for the compounds of interest to ensure maximum accuracy and reliability. Due to the simple design and limited moving parts, the ENVI-Air analyzers will have the lowest maintenance and downtime of any current analyzer system. Measurable connections:. Ammonia, Acetone, Acrylonitrile, Acetonitrile, Arsine, Benzyl Chloride, Bromine, Chlorine, Cyanogen Chloride, BTX, CMME, Ethylene Oxide, Dibutyl Phthalate (DMP), Dimethyl Sulfate, HFPO, Hydrazine, Hydrogen Chloride, Hydrogen Bromide, Hydrogen Fluoride, Hydrogen Sulfide, TDI, Methyl Bromide, Isopropanol, Methyl Iodide , nitrogen dioxide, NMP, PFIB, phosgene, phosphine, PGME, PGMEA, sulfur dioxide, triethylamine, vinyl chloride. Application areas:. - Petroleum and natural gas production- Plastics manufacturing- Semiconductor manufacturing- Chemical manufacturing- Pharmaceutical manufacturing- Gas pipeline safety- Medical sterilization- Primary metal processing. Specifications:. - Detection principle: Gas chromatography - Ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) - Ionization: Tritium (3H) No license or wipe tests required - Sensitivity: Low ppb range - Humidity: 0% to 90% RH - Warm-up time: 20 minutes - Measurement time: seconds - Power supply: 220 VAC/19VDC - Carrier gas: No carrier gas required - Operating temperature: -10°C to +50°C - Storage temperature: -40°C to +50°C - Housing: 19
